It’s officially September which means it’s almost… FLU SEASON!!
According to the CDC, in 2017-2018 there were 163 reported deaths caused by the flu in California in comparison to 2016, where only 40 deaths were reported.

Most cough, cold and flu viruses are thought to be passed from person to person by contact with respiratory droplets. Just breathing is also enough to spread the flu. Most adults are able to infect others 1 day before symptoms develop and up to 7 days after becoming sick. Symptoms can begin about 2 days after the virus has entered your body. People with the flu are most contagious in the first 3-4 days after illness begins. This means you can pass on the flu to someone before you know you are sick!
With that being said, Prime MSO has been kind enough to offer a flu shot this season to help avoid the spread of germs and sickness in our office.
